Eden’s campaign in the Left Chapter

The Left Chapter, a website that shares news, opinion, events, videos, fiction & poetry and food writing from a leftist perspective, has announced Eden’s campaign to run as an independent socialist.

“In an exciting development for Left politics in the province, Eden Haythornthwaite is running an Independent Socialist campaign in Cowichan Valley in the upcoming British Columbia provincial election. Haythornthwaite is a longtime community activist who has also been involved in the Freedom from War Coalition which has led demonstrations and events opposing the ongoing genocide in Gaza over the past several months.

This will provide voters with a clear, leftist vision in contrast to the politics of the far right and the reactionary New Democratic Party government in the province.”
